General Information

(To follow)

Teaching

The module will be taught through practical workshop sessions and seminars, during which you will have the opportunity to explore key Theatre in Education methods, the history of TIE practices, and relevant applied theory. These sessions will provide the basis for the negotiation, creation, and implementation of the practical programme.

Assessment

The assessment will take two forms, each of which is intended to test the knowledge and skill outcomes for the module. The first of these is the Practical Programme, which makes up 50% of the module mark. Here you will be assessed on your contribution to, and practical understanding of, the theatre programme. For the second assessment, you will be asked to submit a Reflexive Portfolio. The portfolio also makes up 50% of the module mark. The portfolio will offer you the chance to reflect on the collective process, and to analyse your developing understanding of, and contribution to, the theatre in education programme.
