EGH320 : Learning Across Cultures

Convener(s): To Be Provided

General Information

This module allows students from English to develop a comparative understanding of selected cultural and linguistic topics by working collaboratively with international students. In mixed groups, participants develop creative projects comparing their experiences of areas such as food, education, music, or family. Students from English will use relevant cultural and linguistic theory to reflect upon this process, focusing on the communicative dynamics of the group and the function of their chosen theme in narratives of self and community. They will also support the international students for whom the module will provide experience of working collaboratively through the medium of English.
